When to Visit

Spring (Mar-May)

Perfect weather, Flower Festival in April/May, lush landscapes. Most popular time to visit.

Summer (Jun-Aug)

Warmest months, great for beaches and swimming. Atlantic Festival in June with fireworks.

Autumn (Sep-Nov)

Wine harvest season, pleasant temperatures, fewer crowds, still excellent weather.

Winter (Dec-Feb)

Mild and green, New Year's Eve fireworks spectacular, lower prices, perfect for hiking.

Getting to Madeira

By Air: Madeira Airport (Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport) is located in Santa Cruz, about 15 minutes from our property. Direct flights available from major European cities including London, Lisbon, Frankfurt, and Paris.

By Ferry: Ferries operate between Madeira and Porto Santo island. No regular ferry service from mainland Europe.
